This restaurant was really rundown and dirty. It may just cater to tourists who don't mind the appearance. However, the staff is very friendly.
The restaurant appears to be a hidden gem, with a charming atmosphere that may not be evident from its name or exterior signage. While English may not be widely spoken among the staff, they were able to provide me with an English menu. A kind customer took my order in English, chatted with me, and even insisted on paying for my meal, creating a heartwarming and unexpected experience. The food itself was incredibly tasty, with a few menu items unavailable due to the late hour. I opted for the rice set menu and the Cassava cake appetizer, which was a delightful treat. The Cassava cakes, steamed in banana leaves and filled with fried tofu and sea tang, were particularly enjoyable. I will definitely return to try them again, especially considering the affordable prices - my meal and appetizer would have only cost 23,000 Dong if I had been allowed to pay for myself!
I did it here in time (before 8am) on my second attempt. When I came in, I was offered a dish of rice with a selection of vegetables, mock meat and noodles. It was very nice, especially the baked (or fried) potato chips. After I was offered the meal, I realized that there was a menu on the wall in Vietnamese with a selection of rice, noodles, sandwich and other dishes. If I had more time, I would have come back to give them an attempt, especially as my meal cost me a very cheap VND1300.
Idk what the guy below me is talking about. This is just typical Vietnamese grub no dirtier or run down than anything else. The food is good and cheap and the staff is friendly what more do you want.
