Roessli - Huettlingen

Nice little restaurant with friendly staff in center of Bulach. Focus seems to be on fish, and I probably had the best Egli fillets I have ever tasted in Switzerland just supreme. Only downside is the price, seems a bit expensive to me for what it is, even for Swiss prices. Still, it is worth it if you want to treat yourself.

A party of 6 and all courses received praise. 4 had the rosti table d'hote which was substantial but not overwhelming. The lake perch fish was delicately cooked and the sauce creative. The risotto was praised and the apple with vanilla dessert came with a grape sorbet which was refreshing.

I have been to this fine dining restaurant on numerous occasions on my own with family and with friends and Ruedi and his team never let us down. Food wine and service were always exquisit. There is quit a few really nice restaurants in the pitoresque old town of Bülach but when it comes to my taste buds the Roessli just ticks all my boxes. Unfortunately the very high standard of cooking is also reflected in the price. So do visit the roessli but dont forget ur flexible friend.

Der Empfang und der anfängliche Service waren gut und freundlich. Unsere Nachfrage, was in der Miso-Suppe enthalten wäre, konnte leider nicht beantwortet werden. Das Essen ist hervorragend, wir hatten die Suppe und Sushi. Dazu ein Glas guten Wein. Als wir die Serviertochter riefen, um Wein nachzubestellen, wurden wir leider 10 Minuten nicht beachtet, dann konnten wir nachbestellen. Leider bekamen wir den Wein bis Abschluss unseres Essens nicht und haben ihn dann abbestellt. Es wurde einfach ohne Entschuldigung zur Kenntnis genommen. Beim Abräumen durch eine andere Bedienung wurde mein halbvolles Wasserglas mit den Fingern im Glas kommentarlos mitgenommen. Als ich reklamierte ging sie einfach nicht darauf ein.Sehr schade, wir finden das Lokal toll und kommen sicher wieder, einfach der Service wäre verbesserungsfähig oder vielleicht bei vollem Haus mehr Personal.
