Phil's Place - Hughesville

This is an amazing spot! It has the charming atmosphere of a small local dive bar, with wonderful people, captivating stories, and a fun staff. The owners are incredibly down-to-earth, creating a vibe where it feels like time stands still. The motto here is "I'll just have one more." I'm so glad to have discovered this place and the fantastic people here!

Charming, delightful little pub! However, the staff—particularly the male employees—could be more attentive. With a bit more proactive effort, this pub could attract a loyal crowd, even on quieter nights.

Despite being a very small establishment, Phil's Place captures the nostalgic charm of a country bar from the 70s and 80s. The staff is consistently friendly, and the patrons are warm and welcoming, creating a cozy atmosphere.

So this place is what I would call the corner bar, not at a corner. Mostly a local hangout, but you will find the girls friendly. There is a pool table, jukebox, large screens and keno for your pleasure hanging together with space outside. However, there was little live entertainment as the converted bar was reopened to Kovid. The bar food menu is small, but the pub pizza is a good choice.

Great place to visit, good atmosphere, great staff and choose beer menu. Would recommend everyone.
