Georgia's Catfish Kitchen - Humble

I just enjoyed a catfish basket from there, and it was amazing! It included five pieces of fish, four hush puppies, and a side of fries. The catfish was wonderfully moist and golden brown, just as advertised! The hush puppies were flavorful and also had a great texture. This is a Black-owned business in Humble that I strongly recommend visiting. Plus, my fries were seasoned just right!

I truly adore this restaurant! The owner is exceptionally friendly and professional. The fried fish is amazing, and the service is prompt. They even offer $3 fish specials on Tuesdays, which is a fantastic bargain. There's ample parking available, and the regular prices are very reasonable. Overall, I rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

I’m a huge fan of the shrimp Po'boy! The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The cheesy boudin balls are also incredible. However, I do have a concern: there's a staff member who asks me out almost every time I visit. It feels rather unprofessional, and it’s a shame that I can’t fully enjoy the great food without feeling uncomfortable. I thought about going today but ultimately chose not to because of that past experience. I hope that others haven't had to deal with the same issue.

This was my first time trying this place. The food was great! I called my order in to go, and the wait time was shorter than what was quoted over the phone, which was a huge plus! The staff was very nice and sociable while I waited for my food.Food: 5/5

I found another jewel and this time it's in HUMBLE!!! I had plans to meet up with a friend to make up for missing her birthday dinner a few weeks ago, so I looked for a Black owned business close to her side of town and found Georgia's Catfish Kitchen on Google and let's just say we BOTH ended up leaving with great gifts!! From the friendly welcome to the awesome assistance with ordering, Scott was a pleasant representative of the GCK brand. From the mouth-watering assortment of freshly prepared items on the menu, I selected the regular size Catfish shrimp box which came with not 1, but TWO sides.... I selected for and Seasoned green beans and I HAD to try a cup of the gumbo. The fish shrimp were seasoned perfectly and were fried JUST RIGHT!! The only thing I didn't like about the gumbo was that I got a cup when I should have gotten a BOWL!!! EVERYTHING WAS DEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
