They were quite large and filled with masa and meat, but they had a flavor that was a bit off for our taste. We’re used to the excellent Tellez Tamales from San Antonio. In our quest for good tamales, I drove to Humble and visited Granny's Tamales. This morning, I sampled a regular pork tamale and a spicy pork tamale. They were just as good as Tellez! They were on the smaller side, but incredibly light and delicate, which is exactly what I was looking for! The mild tamale had a pleasant flavor, and I'm glad I saved the spicy one for last— it was definitely spicy, but I loved it. This little business has been around for about 12 years, and I will definitely be returning for all my tamale needs from now on.
I enjoyed cookies and gravy with sausage and eggs, along with a waffle. Everything was delicious! The cookies were incredible, definitely some of the best I've ever tasted! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for breakfast, which is served all day. I haven't tried the lunch or dinner menus yet.
These are some of the best dishes I've had in years! I will definitely order more!

Great! I have the spinach with cheese and chicken.
