Smallcakes Humble

I've been to this bakery multiple times and have truly enjoyed many of their cupcakes. It's definitely my favorite spot for a sweet treat in the Humble area. My family loves the wedding cake, chocolate cream, and carrot cake the most. They offer special flavors each week that are listed on their website, which I really appreciate. If you can't find a cupcake you like, just ask; they're usually more than happy to make one for you.

We sampled three cupcakes from this delightful cupcake and creamery: red velvet, birthday cake, and peanut butter. Each cupcake was incredibly rich in flavor and wonderfully moist. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend it!

During our visit, the service was rather slow. We ordered a dozen assorted items, and while most were enjoyable, the strawberry ones were stale. However, we also tried the ice cake combos, and they were absolutely fantastic!

I went to this shop Friday (03/17/23) for the first time, and the tall slim lady is very nasty and rude. When I first walked in the other young lady greeted me and was assisting me with the dozen I was ordering. Then the slim lady comes from the back and just takes over, being all rude and snappy towards me. This was my first and last time coming here and I advice the owner to fix the issue with that particular employee ASAP, and from the reviews I’m clearly not the only one that experienced this with her. I could’ve gladly spent my $50 elsewhere, I’ll know better next time. Smh…

The cupcake I bought was really good ?. However me friend stop by here yesterday. To grab some cupcakes, it was my first time, during us checking out. I was waiting on my friend to finish up her payment. Me my friend was having conversation. Which lead to one the lady. I don’t know if she was manager or the owner. But she overheard me and my friend conversation. Which she thought I was being rude to one her associates. I kindly told her I wasn’t being rude to her associates. And I told her I was speaking to my friend. I work in service industry myself. I am not rude or disrespectful person when I go out or hangout with my friends. I know what feels like to have rude customers being in the service industry. I didn’t like they fact she didn’t apologize for her mistake or action. She walked way and sat down in the corner. Plus the lady assumed I was being rude to her associate. I don’t like her tone voice and how she came at me for no reason. I would rather her ask question first instead of assuming whether she had bad day or not. Great cupcakes but the lady need change her attitude or give great customer service next time.
