Texas Q - Humble

We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, about a month ago, was disappointing, but we decided to give it another chance yesterday. We were looking for something more moist. However, when we got home and tasted our order, the meat appeared very oily and lacked any real flavor. There was no hint of smoke or seasoning whatsoever. It tasted as though the brisket was simply cooked without any spices or wood, which left it completely bland. I took two bites and felt nauseous. If I could give it zero stars, I would. We won't be returning.

Chef Sloan truly delivers! The quality of the food is outstanding—it's both moist and delicate. The sides and desserts made from scratch are absolutely delicious! I can't wait to eat here again and again!

I got a nice plate of food with a bug in it. Beware the ides of Texas q. They need pest control.

The pulled pork was just a little tough but it was good. The brisket was great! The beans and Mac n cheese? Killa good.

Don't go unless you want EXCELLENT food! Already looking forward to going back.
