Avi, Mary, and Nelo were incredible! They were very kind, attentive, and all round amazing! The food here is wonderful. Everything is hot, tasty, and flavourful. The wait time for food was a bit long, but we came in late and the place was full. HIGHLY RECOMMED!! You will be very happy with the food and service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This post breaks my heart to write, because Bollywood on 2nd Street was absolutely the best restaurant around. We drove in today from Carlisle, expecting the same kind of experience- boy were we wrong. Our food was... okay. The service though- was astronomically terrible. I've worked food service for years, and the treatment we received tonight was pitiful at best. We were literally seen twice- once when we ordered our dinner, and once when our dinner was served. Although there were several tables around us, we were ignored, even when making direct eye contact. We had to request more water for our table, because the dinky plastic clear cups were empty before our dinner even arrived. We had to find staff to request to-go boxes, and I was not shown my bill prior to payment- the gentleman at the counter simply told me my total and told me to tap my card. Overall, this was an absolute abhorrent experience and we will not be returning. I hope management and staff work on their service skills.
My husband and I had lunch there today (08/29/2023) and had an incredible lunch. We have eaten at Khan in the past but the service is so bad there and the meat has consistently been over cooked so we tried Bollywood. Hubby had mulligatawny soup, which he liked a lot, and then we ordered Molai Kofta and some other tandoori curry veggie with chicken dish. It came with lovely fluffy Basmati rice and we added garlic Naan. We asked for medium heat which was perfect for my husband but told them next time I would ask for high heat so they brought me the green chilies! Perfect! Our host was very informative and we chatted with him and learned a lot about the history of the Chefs as well as himself. Highly educated and professional. We also learned that their restaurant is strictly Indian vs. other Indian restaurants that are also Nepali influenced. And their IS a difference. I could not have been more pleased with our experience and can’t wait to have my leftovers tomorrow! I highly recommend this restaurant! Not only will we go back, but we are taking an Indian friend with us next time because we were so impressed.
