Bengal - Huntingdonshire

I typically don't write reviews unless something is truly outstanding, and I must say that the Bengal is definitely worth a try. My daughter and I decided to dine at the Bengal, and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Tandoori mixed grill, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the chicken Bhuna, which she also thoroughly enjoyed. Communication and ordering were straightforward, and the food arrived within the expected time frame. We were both satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend the Bengal and will definitely be returning in the future.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, but the service was very slow last night. The restaurant seemed to be prioritizing takeout orders, causing us to wait for over an hour before receiving our main courses. We had to send back our main courses when they arrived before our starters, but they were of high quality. Overall, the evening was spoiled by the long wait for our food - it took 2 and a half hours for a two-course curry. The waiters apologized for the poor service, making me think that this was a rare occurrence as previous visits had never been this delayed.

Had to write a review and say how lovely this place is! Myself and my family all had such delicious curries, would highly recommend and will sure be back. Thank you to the staff who were very friendly and the place was very nice inside!

I have been dining at this restaurant for over twenty-three years, and it never disappoints. The service is always welcoming, even when the restaurant is busy, and Lisa, who has been working here for as long as I can remember, is always attentive and efficient. The other staff members are also wonderful, and the food is consistently perfect. The standout dishes are the delicious vegetable sides, so be sure to try them instead of loading up on rice or naan. Thank you, Bengal, for another fantastic evening.

So impressed with our local Bengal restaurant. Food was 5 star and absolutely the best I've had in a long time. Very enjoyable. Perfect service, lovely staff. Best in Ramsey and highly recommended.
