We had a great meal and the hosts were great and nothing was too much trouble would recommend this place to family and friends we had a wonderful time there.
We had a roast a sa family:lovely meal very tasty Sunday roast we went with dad in his wheelchair and staff very accommodating and friendly
This is just one of the consistently great places we keep returning to. It's steady Eddy pub food from a traditional English pub with well kept beer and no nonsense. The homemade pies are a real treat, the fish and chips are just banging. The whole menu deserves its place at the Talbot Inn. (Please watch out for the new 20 MPH limits Here Dragons abound)
It’s ok, that’s the best description I can give. We were waiting quite a long time for food but had been advised of wait- when it arrived it was very average but then it was cheap. Unfortunately my veggie option chilli was so hot I couldn’t eat it- and that’s not me being an annoying veggie, my husband- who likes it hot spice wise- agreed amount of jalapeños and level of spice made it tasteless and uncomfortable to eat. A shame and maybe if I’d had something different I’d have been able to eat it. Advised staff who said usually people say it’s not hot enough(!?! but didn’t offer an apology or concession- we didn’t make a fuss as just won’t go again.
