The restaurant was very noisy, but the food was delicious. The staff were polite, but it seemed unnecessary for them to enforce wearing a face mask while walking just 6 feet to the toilets. Despite this, the overall experience was nice and I would recommend this place.
My partner and I had a negative experience for the second time at this restaurant. The first time, I brushed it off, but after Saturday night, I had to write a review. The service for drinks was extremely slow, waiting around 20 minutes for a round of 4 drinks (beer, cocktail, and 2 gins) despite there being plenty of staff. This shouldn't happen when you are paying premium prices. We had to send back 3 cocktails because they tasted sour. We settled our bill of just over £100 just before 9:30. When asked if we wanted another drink, we ordered but never received them. When I inquired about our drinks, I was told they closed the bar at 9:30. Why were we offered drinks then? Why didn't someone inform us instead of leaving us waiting? The staff's excuse was that the member serving us may not have known. All staff should be aware of the rules. We won't be coming back.
Lovely ambience and delightful staff. Booked for a table outside and all went well. Food good and staff very aware of allergies in food . Meals were delicious , thank you
We have been here a few times and feel Tap Room have done as much as they can to make people feel safe. Probably a little over the top with sanitiser on the chairs though as the backs are getting a bit sticky. Our server this week was mainly from Fraser. Whenever we needed something he seemed to be there. Great service.
