Still the best and authentic! The prosciutto pizza was absolutely incredible, and the dough was just perfect. It's a genuine family-run restaurant, complete with a talented chef, lovely servers, and of course, Laura, the owner, who always makes everyone feel welcome.
Absolutely fantastic food and service! We visited Mazara for our anniversary dinner with the whole family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food and wine were exquisite, and the owners and staff really enhanced our evening. We mistakenly thought the restaurant closed at 10 PM, so we arrived at 9:30, but they actually closed at 8:30 and graciously kept the doors open for us for an extra hour. The crew was incredibly friendly and added a special touch to our celebration. I can’t recommend this place enough—you won't be disappointed! We will definitely return!
Outstanding! I've reviewed Mazara several times, and I'm returning to share my thoughts after yet another exceptional experience. I dined with friends this past Tuesday, and choosing from the list of specials was quite a challenge. I ultimately opted for the braised short rib, which was moist, tender, and perfectly seasoned, paired with risotto and fresh, crisp vegetables. This dish is a repeat special that never fails to impress me. One of my friends ordered the bone-in pork chop (also a repeat special), and as always, it was delicious. There were several fish specials as well; another friend chose the sea bass, which was both beautiful and flavorful. For dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed a molten lava cake served with vanilla ice cream and a Limoncello cake. The restaurant has a small and cozy atmosphere with a welcoming ambiance and pleasant decor. Laura greets her customers warmly while Gino creates fantastic dishes in the kitchen. The service is consistently friendly and prompt. Mazara is not just a must-try; it's a restaurant that will keep you coming back for more. It's best to make a reservation, as it fills up quickly.
