Sunny's - Huntington Beach

This was my first time at this restaurant, but it certainly won't be my last. The service was outstanding, from the server to the hosts - everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, I ordered the full rack of ribs and it was delicious. I will definitely be returning here in the future.

I love coming into the sun. Always the most friendly staff. Moms and Pops surroundings. I always understand the same thing. And for not often come and someone remember what you get is amazing.

Sunny's Restaurant is one of the last TRULY GREAT Family Style, American Restaurants, that I know of in this area. I have been eating at Sunny's for (at least) 30 years (on off) now. Over the years, I've had the pleasure not only of trying everything on the menu, at one time or another, but also of getting to know the Terrific service staff. In addition to the Waiters/Waitresses, it's been my honor to become good friends with the owners/founders of Sunny's, Andy Cindy, as well as their kids (roughly my age) Summer Shadow. Now for the Good Stuff: THE FOOD All of the food served at Sunny's is prepared the Old Fashioned way. For example, if you order a turkey sandwich, it's prepared with freshly (in house) roasted turkey, carved straight off the bird. This style of fresh made food (never canned or frozen), carries through to all the dishes they make. I LOVE the Daily Specials, because they are usually $2 Off the full menu price. On Monday, I ordered my FAVORITE Dinner, 1/2 Fried Chicken Dinner. The chicken is better than KFC, Popeye's, Church's, etc. Soup or Salad, Choice of Veg, Choice of Potato, Choice of Bread. All this for about $10. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sunny's Restaurant to anyone with a Good Appetite!

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was quick, the food options were excellent, and everything tasted amazing. The prices were very reasonable compared to other diners that serve quality food. I highly recommend trying the breakfast option with 6 choices for $8.99 if you have a big appetite. You'll leave feeling satisfied for less than $10. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was quiet and cozy, and the restaurant had a nice theme. Convenient parking and a good location made it easy to visit. I left very pleased and will definitely be returning in the future.

I am from New Jersey, where diners are plentiful. I can confirm that this restaurant is a true diner that can rival those in NJ. I highly suggest trying the French Toast cinnamon rolls - they are absolutely delicious!
