I visited Old Fields for the first time and tried their fried chicken meal. It was quite good, and the potatoes were definitely the highlight.
The cocktail crafted by Ron, the bartender, was simply divine, and I would highly recommend it. We ordered a half dozen oysters, which were just as good as expected. Next, we tried the beet and goat cheese dish; the pecans or walnuts were the standout element, though the beets tasted somewhat canned rather than fresh, and the presentation was uneven. I had high hopes for the pork chop, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. However, the flat iron steak was cooked to perfection! It was incredibly flavorful and juicy—no sauce needed. I would definitely recommend this dish. Overall, we plan to return and explore other items on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit!
I was blown away by the quality of the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly, along with the mashed potatoes and asparagus. Very fair pricing considering the quality. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
We had a delightful experience at Old Fields. The food (branzino and skirt steak) were well cooked and delicious. The chocolate martini was great. Most of all, Nick was a great server!
