They sure are skimping on the sauce. We got a dozen dogs and all complained very little sauce on the hot dogs. Even when I asked for extra sauce and pd for it when we got home there was no extra sauce or at least not enough to notice.
A must if you're in the area. Been open since 1932 selling hot dogs......Why wouldn't you try it?
Went with my 3 young kids after a park day. We ate at one of the tables outside to have an easy wind down transition with the kiddos. The waitress was ever so patient with us when it came time to order as my daughter wanted to talk about everything under the sun, of course except for weather she wanted a hot dog or a cheeseburger. I ordered the BBQ Pork Sandwich Combo, added shredded cheese to the sandwich, I was very impressed with the quality of the Sandwich, it wasnt dry, nor chewy, but extremely flavorful, and a full filling size sandwich, the fries were hot and crispy; cooked to perfection! All three kiddos wanted a hot dog with ketchup, so ordered the 3 hot dog combo, came with plenty of fries to split between the three of them, and the waitress was more then accommodating bringing an extra cup with the one free refill that came with the combo so they all three (4, 3, 1 years old had a full meal of there own for the cost of one (SCORE!
I have always felt that Stewart's dogs are an acquired taste because the sauce is like no other but once that happens you're hooked. This time was no different. They were very good with the rootbeer it was a satisfying meal. We will definitely return.
