If they are from atlanta, and if they were in yardhouse at atlantic station, this place is very similar. really good eating and excellent in house brewed drinks. kim had the eating spaghetti meatballs, I had the jambalaya. Both were delicious. we sat at the bar and katie g was a super big server.
I'm late to check our visit. a few weeks ago we visited the opposite and tried restaurants near our hotel. bj’s was our third stop, it should have been our first! we tried red robin and kona grill without luck reception service. we went to bj’s and were immediately greeted and sitting. we had as a server. we only loved her! she was super friendly and personal. she explained the specialties, as we were new in the restaurant and stayed on top of the service. we ended up with a $10 pizza and salat lunch, which was delicious! the deep dish crust was extra crisp, but still very soft in the middle. one of the best pizzas we had. so we came back on Thursday to try the tri-tip slowly cooked dinner on special (foto fortified). omg! it was the best tri-tip I ever had! I'm a Mignon girl, so I know my delicate lean meat, and that was the same with him! we had jacob this time from the bar. he was a big server and friendly! the special came also with the dessert that was a bonus. we have enjoyed bj so much that we went to the one close to home to order a large pizza that will go half Monday or on the app! new favorite restaurant safe!
Wait time was average. I assume the business is facing shortages due to a 15 minute wait with empty tables on a Sunday dinner service. The brussels sprout appetizer was filling and came out very quick. The burger and sweet potato fries also came out at a reasonable time and tasted good. I would recommend the Yuzu the Dragon drink. I’d like to see prices for items a few dollars less. Good chill date night spot though.
Not sure why this place only has 2.5 stars. We were in town visiting family and decided to stop for lunch. Menu very diverse and had good choices for all involved. We were seated immediately even during Sunday afternoon lunch. Restaurant was clean and pleasant. I ordered the Chipotle Cherry glazed Salmon with couscous and broccoli. Salomon was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. Broccoli was steamed, but needed a touch of salt. Couscous was mixed with tomatoes, red pepper and spinach. It was excellent! My son ordered the prime rib. He didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. I tried a bite and it did need a little more seasoning for my taste. His Brussels sprouts were grilled and seasoned to perfection, a must try. My wife ordered the BBQ tri tip. Not many restaurants offer tri tip because it is difficult to do well, but BJs knocked this out of the park. Everyone at the table tried a bite and all love it. She did mention that the green beans needed the same seasoning as her garlic veggies and they would have been better. Our server was a little slow to refill drinks and check on us, that is our only real complaint. Other than that BJs would have received 5 stars. The wide variety menu impressed us and the food was overall very good. Will be back if ever in the area. Thank you for a great meal!
