This place has an old business feeling and fun ambience. The young lady who served us was very good and friendly. Diane ordered the grilled Yardbird chicken) with homemade chips and mixed vegetables a contradiction I know) less the severity. The chicken was tender and good with what seemed a hint of citrus. The mixed vegetables were slightly softer than we like, but not overhauled and a good but not heavy taste. The homemade chips were noticeable, slightly seasoned and crispy fresh. A good house. I had the sunny side burgers, bun-less, with the mixed vegetables I try to eat something better). The vegetables I've already checked, but the burger was well cooked and delicious and I'm sure would be a good real burger. Overall we enjoyed the experience and food. Two thumbs up.
All right, a new city so new restaurant. I think she asked Google. First they say, "This is not fast food. It was 't pack, but there were many 10 or people tables, so they worked hard. This is a large restaurant with very limited parking. We parked 2 blocks away. As you can see again, I forgot food photos, too much to talk and more ghosts... there were three of us. We had hot sauces and chips for the appetizer. If you like a sweet hot sauce, this is for you, we don't. We all agree that the food was good and the portions were on the small side. The house Margarita and Vodka Martini were delicious. We loved the interior decorations were cool and relaxing. Shout to the waitress ingenious work with her section and all thoughts people.
The BBQ Boss Burger was amazing! Great taste and some of the best bacon I had on a burger in a very long time. We tried to order the Blood Orange Margarita, but they had sold out some of the ingredients, so instead we chose the Pineapples Jalapeno Margarita and Caribbean Margarita. They were, hands down, some of the best margaritas we had and are reason enough for a trip to Huntsville. We chose a cake flight to taste several flavors. The Key Lime was fine, but it was missing the citrus zing I was looking for in a big Key Lime Pie. The pumpkin Pie was also not particularly flavoured with pumpkin. The vinegar Pecan was okay. It seemed that they were all in prefabricated commercial cake crust and was 'not particularly unforgettable. Nevertheless, we will be back for the Margaritas in particular!
Good food and wonderful service. Nice selection on menu. My nephew ate everything he ordered, which is a miracle. The atmosphere is cool. If you grew up in the south, especially in Texas, you will find something from your childhood on the walls or in the decor. Not excessively loud or overcrowded. Pie offers are excellent and what we cost rival grandmother. Had pecan, vinegar pecan pies and chocolate cake...
This place is nothing short of fantastic! Had reason to be in town to watch an athletic event at the University. Received several recommendations, and all were spot-on. What I love even more than the food was the service. Wait staff was terrific, taking the time to share their personal recommendations when given several choices by the many people sitting at our table. By the way, save plenty of room for dessert. The pie selection is to die for... Simply nothing like it in the rest of the US throughout my travels.
