Hops N Guac - Huntsville

On a positive note, the food came out quickly, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, I found not one, but two hairs in my meal. Additionally, the guacamole had green food coloring that made it look fresh, but I ended up biting into a rotten, mushy brown piece of avocado. I’ve never felt so embarrassed for giving this place another chance after a previous good experience, only to be met with such disappointment. This was truly awful.

The food is outstanding, and the staff were very friendly, though they might be new. The ordering process was a bit slow and not particularly accurate, but I hope this is just a temporary issue. The self-serve taps are pretty cool once you get the hang of it (you receive a wristband that works like setting up a tab; just tap the wooden image under the beer description to activate the tap, and make sure to tab out before you leave—although the cashier mistakenly told me you don’t need to). However, the selection leaned more towards light and fruity options than I would prefer. They do have some board games available, which is a nice touch, and the patio looks inviting.

Delish! Casual taco place. Really good food. Cold air conditioning on a hot, hot Alabama summer day! Had the 3 taco combo and shared with hubby. Got the Baja Tilapia, Carne Asda, and Grilled shrimp (forgot the name). All were very good, but the fried battered tilapia was something else!

The tacos were amazing. The amount of toppings/ ingredients was impressive and everything was fresh. They do charge for chips and salsa but they are good. Be careful with the beer- it can add up very quickly and you pay for foam…..

I paid $18 for Carne Asada Fries, which is absolutely insane. They were good, but you could definitely get the same if not better at a local Taco truck. The beer wall was incredibly impressive tho.Kid-friendliness: Not a very kid friendly place
