Mason Dixon Bakery Bistro - Huntsville

I had a delightful lunch with the ladies! The food was great, the facilities were clean, and the service was friendly. Some of the meals we tried included the hamburger, turkey sandwich, and Caesar salad. The salad came with a chipotle dressing that had a spicier kick than I anticipated. The burger was a generous portion and definitely worth the price! Oh, and did I mention they serve cupcakes?

MD did an incredible job accommodating all of our food allergies, including gluten, corn, and eggs. Even more impressive was the flavor and texture of the cupcakes! They were not only delicious but also beautifully crafted; the pictures don’t capture their true allure. I will definitely be ordering again!

During my first visit to this restaurant, I was impressed by the excellent customer service. I really appreciated that they used to-go containers for their food. However, I ordered the Vegan BLT, and I have to say, it didn't meet my expectations. I was hoping for something delicious, but the "vegan bacon" turned out to be dried mushroom strips that lacked flavor. This made the sandwich taste off, especially with the type of jam they used. Ultimately, I couldn't finish the sandwich. On a brighter note, the mushroom gravy and vegan biscuit were decent; they just needed a bit more seasoning.

It?s rare to find an eatery dedicated to safe, gluten free, eating. That?s why I?m intrigued by Mason Dixon Bakery?s offerings. I?ve enjoyed several treats from here including their chocolate chip cooked and their delicious cup cakes. This morning I tried the breakfast sandwich which you can get on various breads (gluten free, dairy free, or paleo friendly) or a gluten free biscuit. Thumbs up! The sandwich was delicious. I ordered cupcakes, but they weren't what I expected. The icing was overly sweet, and the cupcake itself didn't hold up well since the cake wasn't that great. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't meet my expectations, especially since it was my first visit. On a positive note, the ambiance was lovely and very inviting.
