Taqueria Las Adelitas - Huntsville

Service was superb here. The cashier/receptionist/server gave great recommendations and checked how I was doing regularly, engaged in conversation, and felt like he was genuinely interested in my opinion on my food.I got the birria tacos, they were good. The tacos had a nice crisp shell to start but quickly got soggy as I moved down the line, and that was before I dipped it in the soup. I also got a chili relleno on the side. They used a different cheese (queso fresco? than I'm used to, and I liked it. It had a good texture and didn't run out of the chili the moment you cut it open.Would I come here again just for the food? Probably not. But, unless I find someplace much better I would definitely come back because of the service.

Adelitas is hands down the top spot for Mexican cuisine in town. You have to give it a try - once you do, you won't be able to resist coming back for more. Every dish on the menu is fantastic, but don't miss out on the enchiladas and California burrito in particular.

They coaxed out a lot of flavor from the jalapenos and red sauce. A great compliment to the sweet shrimp.

I had the tacos birria and they were tasty. I'm absolutely no expert on Mexican food but this place seems pretty authentic. I'll definitely be hitting this place for lunch again.

As said in other reviews, this restaurant is like a hidden gem in Huntsville, with excellent service, friendly people, and, of course, fantastic food. For example, I got the carnitas tacos and will DEFINITELY need to return.
