Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine - Hurst

This restaurant offers outstanding Thai cuisine and is conveniently located near NE Mall. I have tried both the Pad Thai and the Thai Green Curry, and I found them both to be excellent.

This place is incredible! It must be one of the best-kept secrets around. I would have never considered dining here, thinking it was just another fast-casual spot. However, I came with a group of friends, and I was blown away! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. Our server, Kal, was outstanding! I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend this restaurant! Kal was our server, and I must say, it's some of the most delicious Thai food I've ever had. The food was magnificent, and the service and atmosphere were fantastic! This place truly deserves the highest praise—it's a Michelin 5 star experience!

I generally don't like leaving negative reviews for places but think it's important to share my experience here in case anyone with a severe allergy decides to visit.. I want to start by saying I only eat halal meat, which is why I could not eat their chicken.. I ordered a shrimp pad Thai, they gave me a chicken pad Thai so I sent it back and told them again that I ordered a shrimp pad Thai.. they apologised and 15 minutes later bring me a shrimp pad Thai.. as I was eating it I found pieces of chicken in it. It seems all they did was remove the chicken and replace it with shrimp. I flagged our server and he immediately took it into the back, I told him I did not want it re-made and he was very apologetic. He removed it from our bill and offered me a free beverage which I declined. Though the server was nice, something like this should not happen in a respectable restaurant. This was very disappointing so say the least, will not be returning.

Everything I ate here was sooo delicious! We had the Mus-sa-man curry which i’m now obsessed with. We also got the house sampler and the tom kha noodle soup which we really enjoyed! Servers were nice and helpful as well! Next time we’re in DFW we will for sure be going back <3
