But that doesn't excuse how bad and tacky this place was. The beer selection was very limited and I had to choose between bad options. The atmosphere was lackluster as well. Even if you're in the area, I would suggest avoiding this place as there are better options nearby.
This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The hotel is spacious, modern, and tidy, and the food passing by looked great. The service was friendly, and I particularly loved the huge sports screen that can be seen from anywhere in the hotel. Its proximity to the train station makes it convenient for enjoying a few drinks without the worry of driving. I plan on returning to try the food and will update this review once I have sampled and enjoyed it. In conclusion, Hurstville has plenty to offer, and this restaurant is a valuable addition to the area's dining options.
Hidden gem for steak and ribs! I used to frequent Hurricane Grill at Darling Harbour for their ribs. When I moved to Hurstville, I decided to explore the local pubs and discovered a familiar taste in the basting and pepper sauce of the Sirloin steak at this place. It was an instant connection and after multiple visits and orders on Uber Eats, I learned from the cook that the boss used to be the chef at Hurricanes. This place is a hidden gem because they offer the same quality at an affordable price. The Sirloin steak is a juicy cut and cooked to perfection. The difference here is that the owner takes great care and ensures that the quality is not compromised, unlike many big restaurants. Great find!
While reasonable for the strange beer while watching a non-popular sport event, I have a very boring experience that will always hold me back. when booking a table for a popular sport event, I was told that the ritz would not take bookings. I didn't think they called back twice to 2 different people and received the same result. So I had no booking and was expected to rock up early in the day. then they come the day, I rock up and every table was booked and we had to sit on the floor. I have never seen so much dishonestness that was either exhibited from pub or restaurant staff. if they want a bad service experience, they come here in a definite way. no joke!
Massive large canvas front for the sport fans. the portions were very generous, a huge blade for a small price. the quality will not blow your mind, its standard pig duck and the price is correct.
