Meditarrane cuisine fully met, have ordered a barbecue plate and just very tasty. The meat super juicy and the service super nice.
Unfortunately, I cannot understand the overhead positive pre-reports. In a historic small building at the end of the Husumer Binnenhafen, the restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine. The four outdoor tables are unfortunately occupied during our visit. From here, you would have a wonderful view of the old town and the tide-dependent port once a lot of water, no one. There are two guest rooms inside. To the left of the room with vases and passage to the kitchen. We take our reserved place here, but we quickly flee to the other guest room on the right of the entrance. Why? The kitchen fragrances fulfill the first room so much that even the most tasty fragrance becomes disruptive in the long term. At the second table everything better. Bright without impairment due to any fragrances it can be held well though quite tight and questionable, whether Corona is right. Well, we're studying the map. Adria is water, Husum is water a little disappointed us the map, because there are only two fish dishes. Otherwise, strongly meaty with a focus on the traditional cuisine of the Balkans. In fish dishes, the Zander as a freshwater fish is not necessarily what is expected here on the coast. My accompaniment chooses the tuber fillet, I myself Gambas in Pernod Sauce. Two large salad plates are served in advance, fresh but boring. Normal salad leaves with tomatoes etc. and a little dressing. We were not asked about a possible dressing selection. It tastes, but does not delight. The files then disappointing. Pretty sure is the TK ware, the fillets dry and taste nothing. Unfortunately, the associated roast potatoes are not dry and cherry. My Gambas, probably also TK goods, swim in an excellent Pernod sauce. Unfortunately, a spoon was forgotten, but then apologised. If you look at the prices, price / performance does not appear in line with us: Scholle € 19,90, Gambas € 18,50. However, the black beer is as always a pleasure € 3,30/0,3l. The service is friendly, but not necessarily attentive. We spend a pleasant evening and pull a very ok as a conclusion. With the bill there's another shortcut to the house. The old customs office runs along the port along many other restaurants that we will then test during the next visit.
