I'm very disappointed in this place. My fiance and I tried this place for the first time today. When we saw the menu got excited. Ended up spending over $75 not being able to make up our minds on what to get. Best way to describe this was a very skewed Midwest take on southern food....like all they knew is what to serve not how to make it. Everything lacked in flavor. I use more seasoning in my own home. The place was dirty too. Several dirty tables and the floor was sticky and trash that was stuck around all the tables feet. It was hot and humid inside. The cashier, Asia, was very friendly and kind. She was patient with us the whole time we tried to make up our minds. I'm very appreciative for her honesty as well when we asked about the coleslaw.
Amazing food and very sweet staff!!!! Second time going to Sams and it definitely didn?t disappoint! Thank you for satisfying my pregnancy cravings LOL
Food out in good time and was hot and fresh. Food and portions have always been good, last time I was here the service was quite slow but they have new management and the difference is night and day! 10/10
It's like a fast food restaurant. I ordered the #31. Thats three fish. Three shrimp and three crab cakes. With hushpuppies and red beans rice for my two sides. Fish had little to no flavor. The shrimp was way over cooked and the crab cakes...im not sure what they were but definitely not crab cakes. The hush puppies were way over cooked hard on the outside and mush on the inside. And the red beans rice was barely edible at best. The only drink options are soda and fruit punch from a drink fountain machine. One of the worst meals I've had in several years.
