Dairy Queen - Hutto

Great local Dairy Queen. Service was always great, although the lines can sometimes be long on the ride, it is worth waiting. Bring the pooch and ask for a free pup beaker that is vanilla ice cream and a cookie.

While their food is good, Dairy Queen's marketing decisions are strange... their attempts to insert their brand into pop culture is really stupid. It's so stupid that it's really funny. I showed up here today and saw the Game of Cones on the TV screen. This literally means nothing, and it's not even a piece, because Game of Thrones has nothing to do with ice cream. The Bacon I am your father ad used faul clip art and Darth Vader by Angry Birds Star Wars (i.e. the pig carries another pig). And if the pig says that to a strip of bacon, wouldn't he say that to his dead son? This is said I will always be a good laugh about this advertisement - a unique experience no other restaurant has given me.

Great shrine to Patrick for the great service. This was our third time to visit a DQ, and Patrick was patient when we decided to order what, and he also brought our blizzards as we finished our meals. The restaurant was very clean and liked to support local companies and military service members.

Patrick went beyond and beyond to take care of his customers. We were on holiday before midnight. He was obviously exhausted, but when he came out to give us our food and see our dog, he came back to get her a puppy cup. The leaks helped with the fear of our saved dog. The blizzard and soft serve ice cream were both amazing. We are very pleased that he works so hard on a holiday night.

I was having a bit of a rough night with dinner plans before I made it to DQ. I got to the screen, ordered, went to the window, and got the bad news from the cashier that what I ordered was out of stock. He asked me what else I’d like. Before I had the chance to answer, another gentleman popped up from the back and said he can make it work for my order it just won’t be the exact same. I said ‘let’s give it a shot’. He brought me his version of the order and I couldn’t be happier. What a sweet kid. He’s definitely going places. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name but thank you for giving extra effort where it wasn’t necessary.
