Hits The Spot Cafe - Hutto

We're from NC and stayed at Hippo Cafe for breakfast. That was the best decision so far. Liz was our waitress and she was AWESOME! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She helped me get the things I wanted Nutella French Toast and Cheese Grits with Brisket and Bacon. That was undoubtedly the best greetings I ever had. I do not understand why this is not a clamp everywhere. My fiancée had the chicken steak and it was perfect. Our drinks never ran out and the atmosphere is bad. I can't say enough great things about Liz and the Hippo Cafe! Stop reading and ordering the reviews!!!

EDITED:2-10-22 Not everyone likes jalapeño Ranch! Must also offer normal ranch. Even if from tartaric acid sauce please inform the customer before they order catfish. They brought me my cat and then informed me about no tartaric acid sauce. I can't eat without fish. So I rushed and chose the club sandwich. That wasn't what I expected as a clubsand. 1. Review: We have placed an order for collection. So the fish wasn't really crispy. But that's okay, I was about 5 minutes late to pick up our order. When I had the cats in the restaurant, it was crispy. Nice size serving. Like they have pages, unlike Texan Cafe to offer. For some reason, if you want a good choice of the pages, you better come here because you don't find, but maybe 3 pages in the Texan Cafe. My husband didn't care about the meat. It looked like it had been frozen and then his piece was cut and thrown on a grill to heat up for a bit. He loves meat and was not impressed by what he got. But my husband enjoys breakfast and other plates from the Hippo Cafe. A bad record won't turn us away and it doesn't deserve a bad review. You have several cakes for the desert. It's about good food.

Mikey our server was prompt, attentive and polite! The food was delicious, fresh and quickly came out. I had half an order of cookies and Gravy (more than enough), sausage has a bite. Pan roasted potatoes had a little too much rosemary for my taste, but were still delish. Hubby had meat lovers omelet he enjoyed. The musical theme was really cool and I enjoyed admiring the whole work of art. Soundtrack game was a nice mix! We're coming back!

For the first time in Hutto Cafe to eat and what a lively little place! I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu was not too big, but it had a variety of different options to suit any taste. The waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. It might have been a bit warmer, but overall very good. I could suggest adding the spice level of the dishes to your menu. I like spicy/warm, but the stomach can't take too much. We had Huevos Rancheros and Migas. While using butcher paper as tablecloths and adding Crayons to Doodle is fun, that is a lot of paper and Crayons thrown away every day... I'm sure. I want to check the deserts!

That was some of the best home-cooked food I’ve had in a long time. Ashton served us as soon as we walked into the door he refilled his drinks it was amazing service almost as good as a food.
