Rio Grande Tex Mex - Hutto

Best margaritas and Mexican food around!! The bar service is not always great, but the waitstaff always is. I highly recommend the grande dip and pretty much any of the margaritas on the menu. It's unfortunate the Pflugerville location has sold out to new ownership as the restaurants, drink menu and food menu are not even comparable. Hoping this location remains the same this and the Round Rock location check most of the boxes when it comes to what Tex Mex means in Texas (i.e. legit margaritas AND chips salsa).

Best place to have brunch in the area hands down. Highly recommend it.

Rio Grande Tex Mex is a great place to eat, they have delicious food and a nice patio for the cool evenings. My only complaint, and why we don’t go more, is because they won’t let us take our dog on the patio, even tho their google site says dog friendly. They used to, but the last time I went they refused and we had to go elsewhere. Not enough to take off a star, because this is about food, but I really wish they would go back to allowing dogs on their patio, I miss going here.
