Uncle Sam's Canteen - HYDE PARK

We dined at this restaurant on both days of our visit. The menu offers sandwiches, soups, and wraps. We were pleased with the food quality and found the portions to be generous enough to share.

We had lunch at the canteen located in the FDR site Visitor Center while waiting for our tour of the Roosevelt House. The food was freshly prepared and delicious.

We had the Cobb wrap and BBQ pork sandwich. Both were delicious and came with chips and a pickle. Located next to the FDR visitors' center. Reasonably priced too!

Visiting the FDR Presidential Home and Library and Eleanor Roosevelt's home will require energy. Save time trying to find a quick lunch and eat here--in the visitor's center of the presidential site. Very good food and well located.
