Lee's Firehouse Bbq - Idabel

I will begin this review with a deep idea that I had penetrated this menu: what have we called freedom fries earlier?

I ordered the Ribs . It was an experience I'd never had before the taste of the rub was very unique. I'm not sure what wood they use to BBQ those ribs but it was delicious. There was however no or very little meat on the ribs. Not worth the money to buy. The potato salad is awesome the Cole slaw nothing to write home about.

Food was ok. I've gotten the loaded potato many of times but this tome the potato was old and wet feeling. Definitely not fresh and kinda gross actually. Meat was ok. It's been awhile since I've been there and don't see myself going back anytime soon.. fried pickles and mushrooms were good but way overpriced for the amount (small foam container for $10)

I am giving this place 4 stars mostly because the service. The food was just ok and most of it was pretty dry. Our server however was very bubbly and pleasant. She was fast and very sweet. Her name was Kristin I believe. She rocked!!!

The reason this even got two stars is because our server was great. She was very sweet and made sure we got everything we needed. She was so busy because she was the only one there but she did a fantastic job. You would have never know she was the only one there. The food on the other hand was not good at all and was really pricey at that. I didn't even eat much of it and was sick the rest of the night. The Mac and cheese had no flavor at all and I couldn't taste any cheese. The meats were all so dry yet were sitting in a river of grease I didn't even know that was possible. The only thing I actually ate liked and finished were the onion rings. They were good but again I have had onion rings that good at a cheap diner for a lot less money. I was so sad because this place has good reviews. I will not be going back here though.
