Heute habe ich das Rumpsteak nach schottischer Art probiert. Auch das war einfach hervorragend!

We chose this restaurant based on many good reviews. Unfortunately we cannot share these impressions. We had to wait over 60 minutes for our food after ordering. This was clearly too long for us. It was probably due to a lack of staff, we didn't get an explanation that (and why) there might be delays today. Our little daughter ordered spaetzle with cream sauce. The sauce was refined with whiskey. This is NOT possible for a children's meal at all. We had them go back and were told that there was no sauce without alcohol in their restaurant kitchen, but that the alcohol content was no longer present due to the long cooking time. Nevertheless, the taste remains. In our opinion, children should generally not come into contact with it. We adults had schnitzel and Ziegelhüttenpfanne. All dishes with fried potatoes. The potatoes were too dry, partly burnt, very fatty and only lukewarm. In general, we would have expected a larger portion for good value for money. We were charged an additional 80 cents for a conventional packet of mayonnaise! In the case of a children's meal, this could be at the expense of the house or it could be included in the price from the outset. In retrospect it doesn't make a good impression.
