El Buen Cacao - Idyllwild

They have so many different chocolates and even milkshakes. Remember that many of them have honey, but they are clearly marked. I was a big fan of her vegan chocolate milkshake.

The staff at this restaurant is very knowledgeable about cocoa and the majority of their chocolates are vegan-friendly! I tried the "dirty vegan" shake, made with vanilla oat milk ice cream and a shot of espresso. It was the ideal way to kick off a hot, sunny day in Idyllwild! I highly recommend this spot.

All of the chocolate at this restaurant is dairy-free, however, some varieties do contain honey. They make everything on-site, so you can watch the process. It's all fantastic. A must-stop place when you're in the area. Plus, they offer free WiFi for customers.

I had oatmilk cappuccino, Turkish fig dipped in chocolate, and another chocolate treat called strawberry crunch. Some chocolates are sweetened with honey, but are clearly marked. Dairy is offered with coffee drinks, otherwise everything is vegan. Friendly place!

I had a fantastic experience at El Buen Cacao! The owners were wonderful and I'm looking forward to a possible second location in San Diego. The Sipping Chocolate was incredible and the Honey Truffle was delicious. I highly recommend it!
