The Rutland Cottage - Ilkeston

I enjoyed some wonderfully flavored beer during my nice afternoon at this establishment. However, they seemed to overlook a few things, and the staff appeared to be quite unfriendly towards children, which was disappointing. Overall, it's a pleasant place, but the service could use some improvement.

This charming local pub boasts a spacious garden and offers fantastic service. The beer selection is excellent, and the new menu is impressive, featuring delicious dishes that have truly elevated the dining experience. We also appreciate its dog-friendly atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for pet owners.

We visited on Tuesday evening with our family to celebrate my sister's birthday. The food was delicious, and the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. The quiz night was a lot of fun! I highly recommend this place, and since we live nearby, I’m sure we’ll be back many more times.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though I wasn't in the mood for a heavy meal, they were more than willing to accommodate my request for a healthier option. They happily suggested a jacket potato with a side salad instead of fries. Thank you! We'll definitely be back soon!

I visited on Sunday and was informed there would be an hour wait for the dining room, but we were seated right away. The food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic! I will definitely be returning.
