Copper Barrel On State - Illinois

I have to say this place is always busy downtown and now I know why. The cornbread alone had me still talking the next morning. I’m not a ribs guy, but this place has some awesome ribs. The only other place I had delicious ribs was in Texas. I had the half slab of ribs and half chicken combo. The meat came off the bones clean. The cream of chicken soup was amazing. Great place for food, drink and good friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic gem that we found. Always good food. Staff is upbeat and pleasant. On the top of our list when deciding where to go.
