Ib Street Tacos - Imperial Beach

I decided to give this little restaurant a try since it was right across from my hotel. It's quite small with tiny seating, so I opted to take my meal elsewhere. The dishes I tried—octopus, grilled shrimp, and carnitas—were all delicious and well-seasoned. They seem to use aioli sauce on almost everything, but the flavors were good enough that I didn't mind. Keep in mind that everything is made to order, so don’t expect your food right away. You can see the kitchen from the counter, and it looked like cleanliness wasn't a top priority. Overall, IB Street Tacos is exactly what it claims to be: a simple taco spot just a block from the beach.

Incredible tacos! I tried four different kinds, and the Surf n Turf was definitely my favorite! It’s tough to choose with so many options available, but they were all fantastic. Some of them were a bit pricey, with the Surf n Turf costing $6, but it was absolutely worth it. I would happily order it again!

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places to get great food. Authentic and delicious...small menu that has everything lol counts. Everything's fresh. The tortillas are homemade and the meat is completely delicate and tasteful. I highly recommend it.

Very good. Went with some moee unusual taco fillings being Portabella Mushrooms on one and Octopus on the other and they both hit the spot!
