Forage - Imphal

One of the few modern cafes serving a variety of snacks and coffee in Imphal. Tried their Cream of Chicken Soup and my friend had the hot chocolate. Both were very nicely done. The potato wedges weren't too bad but could've been better. Liked the clean decor and pleasant ambience. Clean washroom is a plus. Credit cards accepted but unfortunately I couldn't pay using mine as the machine wasn't working. Overall worth trying out!

What a wonderful place to hang out and have a nice plate of food. Good ambience and good food is always a good pair. Ordered baked potato wedges, noodles with pork and bamboo shoot, mint lemonade and lemon iced tea, which was great, although the drinks can be improved. But overall really satisfied.

Love the ambience and food, esp Spaghetti AOP is my fav all time. If you are Imphal and want something with fusion food which taste gif then it's Forage for you

Traveling extensively throughout India I rarely come across restaurants like this one. Two times have I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal here, the first time I ate the pasta carbonara. I must say even the better restaurants in Rome have to bow to this pasta. The sauce could have been a little thinner and the plate could have been more hot when served, but my goodness; the taste was amazing. The second time I ate the chicken stew with steamed rice. I was really surprised by the depth of the dish, the taste was exquisite. The staff was very respectful and knowledgable to guide me while choosing my order. And I’ve learned a kind smile makes an evening so much more pleasant. To end off both of my visits I had a cappuccino that was excellent. (I feel like I’m lacking superlatives) At the end of my second visit I was sad to hear that the next couple of days the restaurant would be closing for renovations, so I wouldn’t be able to eat here on my last 2 days in Imphal. Too bad for me, but I suppose your guests will get an even nicer looking restaurant back for it. Good luck and thank you for making my belly happy.
