Posto bellissimo, soprattutto quando il tempo è bello. Cibo così così.

I found this farm by accident as I never visited the area before, usually sticking to the classics such as the Chianti Classico area. I simply fell in love with the place, the views and the people. The villa is also a rare example of well preserved interiors which weren 't destroyed or 'modernised ' just to fit fancy tourists. It 's like going back in time, to an age full of elegance and taste as well as simplicity, and it was a real privilege to visit it. The '700 garden is also unusual, different from the typical geometric Italian gardens which you can look at but not really enjoy and live; it is more similar to the English garden. Nearby there 's a country resort, once the rural village where the farm 's workers used to live. Nice views from there too although the resort is a different management than the farm and villa/farmhouse and my five stars are for the latter (farm and farmhouse/villa Il Frassine).
