Augie's Pizza - Independence

Have ate here a couple times in the last few weeks while staying in Independence. Our pizza was great! Staff were super friendly. Prices are pretty good also.

We are spoiled living in NJ. We had it delivered to hotel. 1- very cheesy so stuck pieces back together. We couldn’t break apart without a knife which we didn’t have. 2- took OVER AN HOUR 3- asked for thin crust but was pretty thick so not sure if an error or if that’s thin pizza. 4- sauce was good 5- people were nice when I called to check on the pizza delivery It wasn’t inedible just not east coast pizza unfortunately

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a large socrates pizza, a medium cheese pizza and 5 chicken wings. The order total came out to $63.55 after we applied a $4 off coupon. The socrates pizza was $27 which we felt was very expensive for the value we were getting. The cheese on our pizza kept falling off and the large pepperoni pizza turned out to be a large cheese pizza which was really a let down. Overall, the quality of our food was much lower than what we were used to in comparison to the Augie's Pizza location in North Royalton. Since there was a mistake in the order, I called them back and I was given a voucher to use from the owner for the wrong pizza which was nice. They said they would write down my info and when I called back, they would be able to see the amount and my name in order to apply the voucher. When I called back 4 days later to use the voucher, the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and told me she couldn't verify the voucher that was given to me so I had to order another day. When I told her this was resulting in me having a bad experience again and that I may write a negative review, she told to write whatever I want and immediately hung up on me. So here I am. Overall, the Augie's location in North Royalton has friendlier customer service and much much higher quality food. I would avoid this place like the plague.

We are not from Independence Ohio we were here with a family member in Cleveland clinic. We were staying Independence Angie's delivered to our hotel so we decided to give them a try. Delivery time was going to be longer then we wanted to wait so we just drove out to the restaurant instead. We were very happy we did. This was our first time ever trying Angie's and they did not disappoint. This was by far the best pizza we have enjoyed in years. Can't love it enough. Service was awesome as well. Wish we had one near home.

Haven't tried the pizza yet, but the ribs are very good. Will be going back again. Will likely try the pizza or other entrees next time.
