Chipotle Mexican Grill - Independence

We absolutely love Chipotle! The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious. I usually order the chicken bowl while my partner opts for a kid's meal. There's really nothing to complain about here. Food rating: 5/5.

An evening meal rushed well, but the in the house dining place was not clean and the bench seems to have harmed water/mold.

Not up to chipotle franchise standards at all. Staff ignored customers in line to focus on online orders for a good 5 min without even an “I’ll be with you in a second or even some eye contact. Had to tell them the order 3 times because they weren’t paying attention. Staff were snippy when I asked a question. Soggy, half wrapped burrito that fell apart. Disappointed because I’ve been coming to this chipotle location since circa 2002 and I guess It’s going downhill post pandemic for whatever reason.

6 employees but no working side bar. They made 8 meals while a line to the door waited to be served. Some of us actually drove to the restaurant only to be last priority. Staff could not handle online orders while keeping the in person line moving. Burrito was not rolled properly. Over all bad experience at this location.

I eat here more than any other restaurant. The food is great and prices fair. Minus one star for how online orders are often slower than walk-ins (where it would be faster to get in line than arrive at my scheduled pickup time). Also, serving sizes can be inconsistent. But I’ll keep going back!
