Clinton's Soda Fountain - Independence

This is a fantastic restaurant with a rich history dating back to the time of President Truman, including the years before he held the offices of senator and president.

The staff member was working solo, and it took quite a while to receive our ice cream. I understand she was doing her best, so I don’t blame her, but it was challenging with ten customers waiting for service. Additionally, the cones were small for what we paid.

The phosphates and cold treats were delicious, and the fresh hot coffee from Roasterie was delightful. Visiting this place completely changed my mood for the better.

Cake Shakes are fabulous when they have the cake! Cheap for ice. Hours are a little hit Miss...

Super friendly staff but the ice cream was the cheap 5.00 bucket from hyvee and wasn't very good. I was so excited ?
