Mugs Up Diner - Independence

Old fashioned drive-in complete with car hops. Zip burgers are very tastey and tbe home-made rootbeer was excellent. I should have bought a gallon to go. I would be a regular if I lived in Independence.

Hd eaten at bill and Ann's mugs up. This one run by nice lady and way better! And cheaper than mickey d's thank you!

The woman working is fabulous. Food was okay. The place needs a really good cleaning. And there was a pretty bad smell of mold. I'm not sure if it was from the ac being bad or from the older building but definitely needs to be checked out. Would be a wonderful place if it had a bit more life to it.

Blast from the past. I used to go the other one on 23rd St. when I was a child. I love the root beer!!!!

1969 my very first job! Best root beer. Best Root Beer Floats (Black Cow) anywhere. Can’t believe it’s still there. If I was still in Independence, I’d go back for sure. Mike York, heath, Texas
