Pizza Plus - Independence

The young man serving as both the chef and the hostess did an incredible job in Hillsville. The pizza and cheese sticks were the best we've had in a long time.

After a few minutes of waiting, another staff member approached the drive-thru window, a different guy this time, and asked me to pull around while they brought the pizza to me shortly. I thought that was reasonable, so I did. I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes, and during this time, I noticed some young men fighting in the parking lot. Eventually, I went back to the drive-thru. A staff member came to the window and asked if I needed assistance. I inquired about my pizza, and he said it just needed to be cut before he could bring it out. This wait continued, and after another few minutes, a young lady approached and apologized, saying they had messed up my pizza. She asked if I wanted to wait while they fixed it. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and said no, forget it, and that I would be speaking to the manager about my experience. We have supported this place for many years, but I have never encountered such terrible service. I'm not one to write many reviews or complain, but this was the most ridiculous experience I've ever had at a restaurant, particularly for a simple cheese pizza. This establishment is in dire need of better management. Please be advised!

We only tried the pizza buffet and didn't order anything from the menu. I would give them a fourth star if the pizza stayed hot under the warming lights. While the pizza is placed on a warming tray, there seems to be an issue with the heating system. Adding some decorations or elements to make the atmosphere feel less like a pizza factory would also improve the experience. Overall, it’s a well-run, friendly, and safe place to dine. We plan to return and try items from the menu next time. I recommend giving them a try!

Pizza was good but the salad bar is to go too. The Ranch taste Awsome! Nice

Been eating here for years. But after 3 orders in 2023 and 2 of the 3 orders being undercooked super doughy pizza. I don't plan to ever eat here again. Just paid my last $40 for 2 undercooked pizzas. If I wanted dough I would buy it fresh at the grocery store. Learn to cook the pizzas!!!!
