Wigwam Inc. - Indian River

It was an impromptu dinner and had a great time. Bar/restaurant was very clean, service was excellent, good eating and nice selection of drinks. we had a great experience overall.

Always enjoy stopping at Wam. Great food and a large beer list, from households to some delicious local craft beers.

Good environment, good service n what I've eaten here so far was good.

Jamie, the hostess/waxsin/?, was fresh and a pleasure! The garlic boms are so delicious, they cut Portobello mushrooms, we tried the creamy chili, so good the gyro simply disappeared, and the pizza crust alone was worthy of the trip.

I came for the live music and the typical bar fare I remembered when going to the Wigwam pre-COVID. (I live year round in the area . Didn’t realize It is now a Breakers establishment! Breakers always has good food. Enjoyed the live music variety (sorry Jack, you are great, but we need more talent exposed in Northern Michigan . As always, the acoustics were terrible. Noise level from surrounding tables drowned out the musician up on stage. She was excellent and needed more exposure up there. We had to move to a table closer from the one we were seated at. Maybe put some acoustic tile on ceiling or surrounding the stage? Yes, it’s a sports bar and many tv screens are needed, but can they be turned off when the entertainment is playing? As for the food………..a friend had the BLT sandwich which she enjoyed very much, another had a burger that was mediocre at best, I had a pizza that was, well, just dough with undercooked toppings and a sauce that didn’t have much seasoning to it. The pizza dough seemed like it was pre made store bought but I was told it was made in-house. To me the whole pizza was undercooked. Not much flavoring except for the pepperoni. Needs to be re-invented! There is a place outside Brutus that has exceptional brick oven pizza and another restaurant that’s been around forever in Indian River with the best pizza around (you know which one! . So, reviews like this helps a place continue to get better. I will come back since I love the beer choices on draft. I know the Wigwam will continue to strive for excellence!
