They are the third location of the Black Crowe locations in St. Pete (they roast their own coffee beans). The location is nestled and easily missed. Look for the ?The Rose? the large pink building. It sits across the street. If you see the highway exit you passed it. There is limited parking. There is bohemian styled outdoor and indoor seating. The servings are satisfying. The prices are competitive . The service is welcoming. The food was fresh and flavorful.
The coffee here is great. We arrived about 4 minutes before closing time, and the young lady working was still very friendly. The restaurant also has a nice outdoor seating area.
I really love this charming little coffee shop. During my first visit, I initially had trouble seeing the building as it is older and hidden behind overgrown foliage, which I later discovered was their outdoor garden area in the front yard. There is also a lot of greenery on the side, making me question if the place was open. It is a small, older beach bungalow that has been converted into a coffee and baked goods shop, and it can get quite busy at times. The plants add to the charm now that I know what is hidden behind them. Indian Shores does not have much indoor seating, just enough for a line to order and pick up, with a few pieces of coffee and music memorabilia. There is a covered screened porch with a few tables, as well as a larger garden area with more tables. The staff always greet you with a smile and provide good service, though not as efficient as a chain, the charm makes up for it. The layout of the store, including the counter, large brass espresso machines, and decor, is fun to look at. The menu features a variety of decadent coffee drinks with unique names and flavors. The display case of baked goods always looks enticing, though a bit hard to see. They usually have gluten-free muffins available. On this visit, I ordered a delicious Coconut Dream latte, a chocolate muffin, and a cranberry orange gluten-free muffin. The coffee was excellent, and the muffins were perfect - the chocolate one was gooey and indulgent, and I devoured it in no time. I reheated the second muffin in the toaster a few days later and it was also delicious, especially for a flavor I wouldn't normally choose. Indian Shores Coffee is a cute and unique spot that is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
This coffee shop is a hidden gem!! Cold brew is amazing and the chocolate chunk muffins didn't disappoint!! They offer sugar free (vanilla and caramel) options which was great!! Parking is limited and coffee house is nestled and could easily be missed. Staff is super friendly! Would definitely recommend!!
We love local coffee houses like this! Their flavors are amazing for lattes. Would recommend a hot latte with the Purple Haze flavoring! Everything is made fresh that day as far as pastries too!
