Unfortunately, indy lost one of his sources of vegan donuts. the owners of gadco have recently proved themselves racist and capable of their social media. they had many places to check their position, but instead they were their firsen in and became childish and insulting for the patrons. not to mention the workers do not wear masks or gloves during the pandemic. So. we are real, we only ate their donuts because they were one of few vegan donuts in the city, but they were never good. updated by the previous review on 2020-06-16

They would never know their donuts are vegan. this is the place for vegan donuts in indy.

The restaurant had some inconsistency in their dishes, but when they were good, they were really good. The vegan options were sometimes a bit doughy in the middle, but the flavor was always delicious. They usually had a wide selection of vegan dishes. It is unfortunate that the restaurant faced backlash from BLM activists targeting kind people. My family, who are all considered "black", have never experienced any unkind treatment at this restaurant. It is a shame if this is the reason for their closure.

Sadly, Indy has lost a valuable option for vegan donuts. The owners of GADCO have been exposed for displaying racist and ableist behavior on social media. Despite opportunities to make amends, they chose to stand their ground and behave disrespectfully towards customers. Additionally, the staff at GADCO have been observed not wearing masks or gloves during the pandemic. In all honesty, the only reason many of us frequented this establishment was because of the limited options for vegan donuts in the area, not because their donuts were particularly good.

They were a hit or Miss, but when they were good, they were good. The vegans were a little dry in the middle at times, but the taste was always on point. Usually a ton of vegan options had. Sad people were attacked by BLM activists. I have never been treated rudely or have my children or my husband, who are all considered “black”. I hope that's not the reason why they turn off.
