Harold's Chicken - Indianapolis

She has gotten taller and more rude. I paid over the phone before arriving, but it took 25 minutes for my order to be ready, even though there was nobody else in the restaurant. The grease was overflowing. The chicken was tough and the fries were cooked in the same oil, with burnt bits everywhere. They had to remake my pizza puff three times just to give me something edible. I ordered two lunch specials online and in the store they were advertised for $5 each, but they told me the prices had increased and it was not posted anywhere. The chef and server were both on their phones the entire time I was there, adding an extra 30 minutes to my visit. Save your money and time and just avoid this place altogether.

Very disappointing ?. Fish was fried in old oil and dry. I couldn't eat it. I was excited to try Harold's but it was a giant let down. There's no way I would serve this to a customer.

The best catfish in Indiana. It's just a hole in the wall, but worth every cent. The chicken is really good too.

This was my first time having Harold's. I wanted to try it in the Chi first but...it was good. The food truck tricked me lol. I thought someone was in there but instead you have to go in the building and you can't sit on one of the chairs and wait. I felt like I was back in the hood. They had rap music blaring when I entered. So loud we kinda had to yell over it. The girl who took my order was pretty cool. I paid $16 for (10) whole wings, fries and a drink with two different sauce flavors. The chicken and fries was piping hot. Also had bread underneath that pleased me. Next time around I would put my own salt and pepper on the chicken and ask for my sauce to be on the side instead of drinched in it.

I decided to try this restaurant because I'm from Chicago. Unfortunately, the chicken had a strange smell, like fish, because it was cooked in old oil. The fries also lacked lemon pepper seasoning. Overall, I was quite disappointed.
