Harolds Steer In - Indianapolis

I’ve been driving past this place since I was a kid and for some reason always thought it was a bar and never tried to go in. After a little research I found that it was a restaurant and finally decided to check it out. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon after lunch. After a brief discussion with my server Melonie (who was great) I decided on getting the spicy tenderloin. Annndd let me tell you this sandwich was bussin, I mean straight the tenderloin was not too crunchy and it wasn’t too thick or thin (pause) and it was beautifully cooked. Topped with lettuce tomato and mayo it was absolutely delicious, and then the fries, fried to perfection, crinkle cut fries with a nice little bite to them and soft in the middle. I personally asked for some seasoning salt to shake on it since it didn’t want to ruin them with ketchup. I’ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu

We made reservations for the Valentine's Day Menu at 6 pm. While the meal was good, it fell short of being great due to the undercooked filet and mediocre Prime Rib. Next time, we may opt to order from the regular menu instead. The restaurant quickly filled up, but our waitress handled the rush with ease and professionalism. Despite the minor disappointments, we still plan on returning in the future.

The food was fantastic and our server was attentive! I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. My brother got the Irish Skillet and was kind enough to share some with me. I will definitely be getting that dish next time, as there will definitely be a next time.
