Great food, I mean absolutely great food. The place is an old dive bar that's 112 years old to date with homestyle cooking. If you love all things stew, then this your stop!

I'm thrilled to see John’s back in business! I enjoyed a generous bowl filled with chunky carrots, onions, potatoes, and beef, all served in a mildly spicy gravy, along with bread and a drink. The service was friendly, provided by two young ladies. I always appreciate supporting locally owned restaurants and am already looking forward to trying the cabbage rolls next time!
