If you like Indian food, you'll love Karachi Kabab and the customer service is a heck of a lot friendlier than India Palace across the street! They serve Afghan and Pakistani food Our group of 4 ordered take-out on a Saturday night: Afghan pulao, mixed vegetable curry, the Afghan mixed grill, chicken Bihari Boti and garlic naan. They also provided 3 different sauces to add to the dishes! The portions were generous (our friends took leftovers home and we had it for dinner for another 3 meals! and everything was very tasty. We loved the heat, but if you need it milder, be sure and ask for that. They even threw in some rice pudding for dessert. I am not a rice pudding fan, but thought I'd try just a little and it was delicious! If you're ordering for take-out, give them some time. They asked for 45 minutes from when we placed our order to pick up, but it was worth the wait. Add this place to your ethnic restaurant list. The only thing we needed to add was beer!

If you're driving through Indy, Karachi Kabab is just a few minutes off of I-65 on the northwest side. It would be a perfect spot to break your drive with a meal.
I’m the person that never writes reviews but I’ve been to this restaurant a few months ago and it was awesome. Decided to go back with my friend that never tired desi food. The food quality was horrible and very over priced. If the food was good I didn’t mind the price. I told them If I can have a mixture of chicken and salmon and they charged me for two separate entrees which didn’t seem like two separate entrees. The rice was just plain rice no flavor and the chutneys they gave you don’t go well with the meats. For 70$ I could of eaten at a fancy restaurant for that price and would of been much more satisfied.
Got the chicken biryani and chicken tikka boti. Both were great, easily best desi food in indianapolis I’ve had.
