The food at this restaurant was excellent, but the prices were a bit high. The cuisine is Mexican street food, which was tasty, but I wasn't willing to pay fine dining prices for it. Additionally, the kids menu items were priced the same as everything else, so I would recommend not bringing children. Despite these issues, both the food and service were of good quality. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
I tried the chorizo burrito and esquites at La Mulita and both were fantastic. It's a perfect spot for a quick bite on the way to downtown.
The wife and I went for lunch. The food was great and we had the server all to ourselves. The server was sweet. Wish they had a couple extra vegan options but the few options we had were delicious.
This place is not the comfiest, but does have the best neighborhood tacos. Many of the chairs are unpadded metal, some are park bench style wood. But the tacos are delicious. There are maybe 6 to 10 beers on tap. The service is usually trying hard toplease. Food comes pretty fast. It's not perfect, but I'll definitely be back.
