Metro Nightclub - Indianapolis

I've been coming to Mass Ave for years, but this was my first time actually stopping into Metro. I ordered the steak salad, and it was delicious. I think I visited during some off hours, as we were basically the only patrons inside, but I've seen this place packed before, so keep in mind it can get busy. The bartender was very attentive, making sure we got exactly what we each wanted, and the atmosphere was clean. Prices are typical for Mass Ave, and while I didn't notice a happy hour on the menu, that would definitely make it even better!

Metro is by far my favorite bar in Indy, and is usually the final stop my friends and I make on a night out. It gets pretty crowded, especially on the dance floor upstairs, but I've never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome. Best music out of all bars nearby. Bartenders are all kind and checked in on my friend/got her water when she was too intoxicated this past weekend. I've never ordered food here, but I'll update if I do.

Two-level dance floor. Friendly, open-minded place, open late in Indy. Welcoming to gender non-conforming/trans people

We visited around 10:30pm Saturday night. Early enough to some food and shots before dancing. Have to highlight the security in this place, used to just be able to walk in around midnight and just do pat down. Now w new external security company it's easy to identify security, they're on both floors, and require id scan/photo at the front door. Feels v safe there!! Appreciated around this area Unfortunately less lgbtq people than there used to be. More drag shows and karaoke/open mic nights!!

Ok. So you should know what you are getting into before you come. It 's a gay bar or very gay friendly. I love these places as I get free drinks all-night and get to be like hell. No not interested but still so much fu.n. Come here with the right attitude and you will have as much fun as me.
